Join the Jump-Box Waitlist: Be First to Book When We Open November 21
Share
We're one week into our countdown to launch. If you've just found us, welcome. If you've been following along, thank you.
This post pulls everything we've shared so far into one place. We'll explain why joining the waitlist is the easiest way to make sure your boxes are booked for your move date, sum up Jump-Box in six points, take you behind the scenes, and share planning tips for whenever your move happens.
Why join the waitlist?
Jump-Box opens for bookings on Saturday, November 21, 2026. Joining the waitlist means:
- You hear first. We'll email you the moment bookings open.
- You get first pick of dates. Month-end delivery and pickup slots are always the busiest. Waitlist members can book before the general rush.
- You get any founding-customer perks we announce before launch.
- There's no obligation. Joining doesn't commit you to booking.
It takes about 30 seconds: add your name and email at jump-box.ca and you're in.

Jump-Box in six points
Missed the first week? Here's the recap.
1. We deliver, you pack, we pick up
We deliver clean boxes to your door, you pack and move at your own pace, and we pick the empty boxes up from your new address. Read the full step-by-step in our launch post, Jump-Box Opens November 21.
2. About 94 litres per tote
Each tote is about the size of a large cardboard moving box, in rigid plastic. They stack when full and nest when empty. See what fits inside one tote.
3. Water-resistant for Vancouver rain
Plastic doesn't soak up water, so a wet driveway or damp truck won't soften the bottoms. Read our guide to moving in Vancouver's rainy season.
4. About 12 boxes per bedroom
That's the quick rule for planning your move. Find out which package fits your home.
5. A free box calculator
Answer three questions and get the right package in under a minute. Try the moving box calculator.
6. No tape, from $99
Labels, a dolly, delivery and pickup are included in every package. Read about packing without tape.
Behind the scenes
Our team is busy getting ready for launch. Right now that means:
- Checking every tote before it enters our rental fleet
- Setting up our cleaning process, so every box is cleaned and sanitized after every rental, before it goes to the next customer
- Planning delivery routes across the 22 cities and communities we serve, from Vancouver and the North Shore to Surrey, Langley and Abbotsford
We're a small team with a big countdown. You'll see more of what we're doing on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok over the next few weeks.

When are you moving? Planning tips for each season
We asked our followers when their next move is: November, December, January or February, or spring. Here's what to plan for in each case.
Moving in November
You'll be one of our very first customers. Join the waitlist now so you can book the moment we open on November 21. November is wet in the Lower Mainland, so cover mattresses and soft furniture and plan for rain. Month-end dates around November 30 will be busy.
Moving in December
December moves compete with the holidays: work parties, travel and family plans. Book movers and boxes early, and avoid the week between Christmas and New Year's if you can. If you have to move then, have your boxes delivered a little earlier so you can pack around holiday plans.
Moving in January or February
These are often quieter months, which can mean more flexible dates. They're also the coldest and darkest, so plan for shorter daylight, possible snow on higher ground and icy steps. Water-resistant boxes and a wet-weather kit by the door help.
Moving in spring
Spring is popular, especially around the end of the school year. Join the waitlist anyway: you'll get our packing guides and tips in the meantime, and you'll be first in line when you're ready to book.
A booking timeline that works
Whatever the month, this timeline keeps most moves on track:
- 4 to 6 weeks before: book movers (or arrange friends and a truck) and your building's elevator.
- 1 to 2 weeks before: book your boxes, with delivery about a week before moving day.
- 5 to 7 days before: boxes arrive. Start with the rooms you use least.
- Moving day: load, move and unload.
- 1 to 2 weeks after: we pick up the empty boxes from your new home.
If you're moving at month-end, book early, because those dates are always the busiest for moves in Greater Vancouver.
What you can do now, before bookings open
You don't need to wait until November 21 to get ahead. Here's what to do while you're on the waitlist:
- Fix your moving date, or at least narrow it to a week.
- Get quotes from movers, or line up friends and a truck.
- Ask your building about elevator bookings and move-in rules.
- Work out your package with the free moving box calculator.
- Start decluttering. Sell, donate or recycle anything you don't want to move. Every item you don't pack is one less thing to unpack.
- Collect what you'll need for packing day: towels for padding, a few zip bags for screws and cables, and a pen for labels.
Do those and booking will take a couple of minutes once we open.
Who the waitlist is for
The waitlist is a good fit for condo owners in Burnaby, Vancouver and the North Shore working around elevator bookings, families in Surrey, Langley and the Tri-Cities moving into bigger homes, renters with a month-end lease change, and anyone who simply doesn't want to deal with cardboard again. If that sounds like you, add your name.
